Excellent~SCHOOL'S OUT!

Well, it's been out since Thursday, I'm just late gettin' this across to everyone.   Ah, summer.

Unfortunatly, I'm already bored with myself.  I actually really want a job, just so I have something to do besides go on the compy or play soccer outside.  *sigh* I have no social life. I miss my homies in Michigan. (Hey guys!)

Ugh, at least the weather is nice.  *soaks up sun*

So, soccer conditioning starts tomorrow. I don't feel motivated at all. I can't decide if I like the coach or not..he seems soo..eh.  I miss Shull, Joe, and Brian. They're probably the best coaches I've ever had.

Ok, enough depressing stuff.  *slaps face*

Current obsession: House M.D.  Well, more specifically: Hugh Laurie. (HAPPY B-DAY HUGH!) I'm a total fangirl. I went out and rented a House DVD and I plan on watching more Tuesday and renting more. Weeeeeh. It's soo good.

And to further feed my obsession, watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Bh7vnIVPv4

Best moments in House, according to some guy on youtube...it cracks me up!!  -SC

It's amazing that there is only 10 days left of school.  My mind is a little boggled over how fast this year went.

So, this past weekend was fun; I actually had a social life . . . Probably the best thing that happened was I ran into my old friend, Mike, from my old school.  I hadn't seen him in well, probably three years. We chatted for a few minutes and that was that, but I noticed that I didn't shut up very well.  Rambled speech just spewed from my mouth.  I must of said the words "screwed up", "sucked" and "crap" like 50 times in a matter of minutes.  While all these words came from my mouth I was thinking, "Dude, Volanski, shut your mouth, you sound like a babbleing idiot!"  I don't know what was my problem, most of the time I'm quiet.  Maybe I was nervous?  But why in the world should I be nervous?  Tis' a mystery.

Getting passed that, it was great seeing Mike again, I missed him a lot. :)

After that little encounter I've been thinking about my speech.  I have a really unrefined way of talking and I haven't noticed it until now.  I use a lot of slang, more slang than I probably should.  Words like "sweet", "awesome" and "snap" often fill my conversations.  I was just thinking that I should watch that because first impressions are important.  And I probably could use better words. . .

Course, this isn't the first time I noticed the speech thing.  Last year I said the word "fricking" (yes, "fricking" not the real f-word, I never say that) and my friend Nick commented that it sounded a bit funny coming from me.  I asked him why and he said it was because I never swear and "fricking" just sounded a little harsh coming from me. I was like: For real?  I never really thought about it before. . . Great, now I'm gonna be watching everything that flies from my mouth. Perfect.

So, I walked into the bathroom today at school and had to set my crap (there's that word again . . .) down on the little shelves.  Some girl was lookin' at herself in the mirror and got a little testy when I wanted to set my stuff down.  Well, excuse me, but when I go into a bathroom it's to use the flippin' toliet.  Yes, I check myself in the mirror but I don't spend the 4 minutes of passing time primping myself in the bathroom. So get out of my way!

Alright, that's it, SC's done ranting!! -SC

Hello all!

I had a fantabulous weekend.  Sunday was spent at the mall with my sweet cousin. I had to get that project done for psych. class.  It was a success.  I found out some interesting stuff about how people treat you by the way you look.  And by the way, Apple Store people just like to ignore you. Or maybe it was just the people on duty.  Anyway.

My cousin pointed out a realllllly awesome book. (Thanks again!!) Gah, I just finished it...oh five minutes ago? It was flippin' fantasic and I can't wait for the sequel.  weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh   I love the main character, I can totally relate to her. And who doesn't love a sexy vampire anyway?  That in itself is a reason to read a book. Haha.

Good thing I finished the book, otherwise I wouldn't get anything done this week.  Blah, spanish project. -SC

Oh! It's green now.  The color of . . . my plant.

So, this weekend was rather busy for me.  Friday I went to a basketball game with some of my old friends at my old school.  It was fun, but weird at the same time.  I ran into some people and we chatted for a few moments.  But I don't ever remember feeling so awkward around them.  Something about the way they looked at me, I dunno it was weird.  Almost harsh.

I saw "Meet the Robinsons" on Saturday with my brother and dad.  It was . . . a dissapointment.  The best lines were the ones on the trailers and it was rather predictable.  And it was in 3D. I'm not a fan of 3D movies to begin with.

Other than that, life is simple right now.  And even though I have a lot on my plate I'm not as stressed out about it.  Which is another weird thing.  Hmm.

I have to do this project for psych. class.  We must pick a mall and pick 3-5 stores in that mall.  First time you go in, you have to be dressed up nice.  Second time you go you have to dress sloppy or 'down'.  Then you have to record the different ways people treat you. I really excited about this one; it's gonna be a lot of fun!  Plus, it's an excuse to go to the mall!! -SC

Om, om om, o my Gosh! The xanga died. XD

Let's see, life's a little different than it was back in October.  I moved, for example, out of state and back into my home state. Talk about stress.  Everything's going alright though.  People are nice and I had a pretty smooth school transfer. I miss my nerds though!

Other than that...nothing really.  I have a short week this week, so woot!

And that is that.  Maybe I'll keep this thing alive after all! Haha-SC
